You are unique.
Your Treatment Should be too.

That’s why Greenwood Regenerative Medicine offers a variety of safe and effective treatment options tailored to each individual patient’s condition. Unlike traditional medical practices that focus on treating the symptoms of pain and inflammation, our regenerative medical physicians focus on identifying the root cause of each patient’s pain and inflammation and offer real solutions without undergoing any surgical procedures. Regenerative Medicine therapy uses the body’s natural material to activate the human body’s natural way of healing itself. Regenerative medicine is a safe non-surgical procedure that uses donor umbilical cord allograft tissue derivative (Wharton’s Jelly) containing Stem Cells and growth factors to relieve pain and jump start the body’s own healing process. If you’ve been told that your condition is irreversible and pain may never go away, Greenwood Regenerative Medicine is here to help. You deserve to rewrite your story and experience life beyond chronic pain.

What is Stem Cell Therapy?

Stem Cell Therapy is an innovative form of regenerative medicine that activates the body’s natural healing process by repairing the structural cells in joints and tissue. Stem Cell Therapy is a safe and effective non-surgical treatment option that requires little to no recovery time. At Greenwood Regenerative Medicine, we use pluripotent donated umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UB-MSC) as part of a stem cell osteoarthritis treatment without ethical concerns.

(UB-MSC) have the natural ability to repair damaged tissue in arthritis sufferers. The stem cells  have the potential to prevent further damage to the joint.

How Does Stem Cell Therapy Work?

Stem Cell Therapy is a safe and effective form of regenerative medicine treatment that triggers the body’s natural repair response to heal damaged joints and tissue.

At Greenwood Regenerative Medicine we use umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UB-MSC’s) which are a rich source of growth factors, including collagen, elastin and fibronectin, cytokines, and hyaluronic acid which help support tissue repair and regeneration. (UB-MSC’s) are designed to facilitate the migration of the patient’s own stem cells to the injury site, leading to an increased rate of healing and regeneration.  A highly qualified medical specialist provides stem cell injections with the guidance of diagnostic ultrasound technology or c-arm fluoroscopy (live imaging.)

Does The Source of Stem Cells Matter?

Yes. Not all Stem Cells are created equal, and it’s important to know the difference. We offer our patients the safest and most effective stem cell therapy available.

Our unique treatment uses Umbilical Cord stem cells which contain Mesenchymal stem cells to enhance the regeneration of cells and tissue. Mesenchymal stem cells are stromal cells that are able to divide and regenerate themselves into a variety of different  specialized tissues without being rejected by the body.

What is Hyaluronic Acid Treatment?

Hyaluronic Acid Treatment is a  unique form of regenerative medicine used to restore and replenish molecular cells, synovial fluid, and tissue and heal chronic pain and inflammation. Hyaluronic Acid which is also referred to as Viscosupplementation therapy and is used in a nonsurgical procedure that helps supplement the viscous properties of the fluid in your knee joint. Hyaluronic Acid is a sugar molecule, also known as a polysaccharide or glycosaminoglycan, and is present throughout the synovial fluid found in our skin, eyes, and joints.

Our Hyaluronic Acid Treatment is administered by injecting Hyaluronic Acid into the joints. A sequence ranging between 3- 5 weekly joint injections is performed by a highly qualified orthopedic specialist using ultrasound technology for guidance. Some of our patients have reported symptom relief after the first injection. Each patient reacts differently to hyaluronic acid treatment. The benefits of hyaluronic acid can last for months. In clinical studies many patients experience 6 months or more pain relief. There are reports in the literature of pain relief beyond 6 months.

Hyaluronic Acid Treatment Optimized Stem Cell Treatment

Hyaluronic Acid Treatment enhances the effects of Stem Cell Therapy, optimizing the healing process for many patients. Not only does Hyaluronic Acid lubricate and cushion the joints when injected into the joint spaces, HA takes the form of a scaffold protein providing the injected stem cells with a mesh-like structure to adhere to. Hyaluronic acid is recommended (for the knee) following a 6 week period from receiving a stem cell therapy procedure for the knee(s.)
